I Run My Business Phones From Claude

Here is a small overview of a couple of platform updates from the 5th to the 25th of October. And yeah, obviously we're at 518 new lines of code written in those 10 days, 54 new platform releases, and 1,622 improvements and fixes. So, yeah, just through a couple of interesting things. Let's maybe start off with basically what happened this this week in SmartAlex.

So, the first thing is you can now officially run SmartAlex and SmartAlex from ChatGPT and Claude, which is quite an amazing thing. You also able to hear the campaign before it runs. So, we've got simulations that now run for your phone and your campaigns. So, basically we tell you if something is going wrong with your platform or not.

You also able to listen to live calls during the during the campaign. So, and during any phone call, so basically you can peek in and hear exactly how a campaign is running and going. We've obviously introduced six other African accents. This is for our South African clientele.

So, we've got six new South African accents, Zulu, Xhosa, etc. We also are able to get better calls on every single agent. So, the phone call quality on our agents has become dramatically better very quickly. We're also able to answer email more efficiently.

So, you can actually integrate your Gmail directly with our platform, which means that we'll be able to respond to emails. You can have your agent literally respond to emails in your inbox. That's an amazing feature. We also now have automated reports.

So, if you're running outbound campaigns or you want to know how SmartAlex is doing for your business, you can actually set up intelligent reports. And then number eight, and I hope I haven't missed anything, but number eight is literally every single sign-in is now under your control with our new SSO. So, that literally means that if you have an enterprise SSO setup, we can actually support that directly within our platform. So, obviously, the fun important thing is that you can now run SmartAlex from Claude and ChatGPT and Coda.

And yeah, obviously, Coda X and, you know, all of those other ones, too. But basically, we support 78 different tools within the setup. And that literally means that you can like anything on our platform directly through ChatGPT, which is like the coolest thing ever.

So, yeah, I'm not going to take you through everything in the deck. I think one of the important things I'm going to do is I'm I'm actually going to hop onto Claude and I'm going to show you a little bit about how this works, which is really cool. And I'm going to show you on a real client that I actually using this. So, I'm going to hop into Claude and we'll give it a go.

So, the first place to start is definitely going to be in Claude. So, I'm going to open Claude up. And I'm going to also open up SmartAlex, which is equally super important. So, okay.

Over here, I've got getsmartalex.com open. I'm going to log out of my main account and I'm going to actually log into our client's account, whose details I actually have, which is fantastic. And this client have been kind enough to actually allow us to show basically everything.

So, yeah, that's really fun. Okay, great. So, we've got Cloudrift open. Cloudrift is an Airbnb and we also have Claude open.

And then maybe what I should do as well is open up ChatGPT.

So, let me actually bring up ChatGPT. Okay, that is awesome. Okay, great. So, we've got ChatGPT open.

We've got Claude open. And we've got Cloudrift open. And then just for good measure, I'm also going to open up Grok Bot, which is also going to be fantastic. So, let me open up Grok Bot.

That is awesome. And I'm going to name this SmartAlex. Okay, that is amazing. All right, so, we we've got SmartAlex finally open.

And yeah, basically, we're just going to have some some some fun.

So, the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to hop literally straight into Claude and I'm going to go into customize, plugins, add a marketplace, add from repository, and I'm going to choose SmartAlex plugin. Now, if you don't have SmartAlex plugin already installed, basically what you do is you go into getsmartalex.com/plugin. Okay?

So, you're going to go into forward slash plugin. And then you're going to click on install plugin and you're literally going to choose which one you want to install. So, I've got Claude, ChatGPT, all of these. I'm going to click on and I'm going to open up Claude.

So, I'm going to literally just go through our own guide. And if we give this a few seconds, okay, so now it says open up Claude. So, we're going to open up then we're going to hop straight back in and and I'm going to click next. And now it says press add and choose marketplace and copy this.

So, I'm going to copy that. I'm going to go on to plugins, add, add marketplace, add from repository. I'm going to paste this plugin in. I'm going to click on it and I'm going to click sync.

This one is already added.

If you click sync, it'll just add it for you. Once you've added it, you want to search for SmartAlex. Okay? And you want to go into you want to click on where it says SmartAlex and click connect.

What this is going to do is it's going to allow you to actually connect it directly to your platform, which is really great. Okay, so if we give this a couple of seconds, I'm going to click on approving. Awesome. And now we're going to try it in chat.

So, what this means is that I can now basically set this up on my account. So, I'm in Claude and I've clicked on setup and I've now said take me through setting up my SmartAlex account. Because I already have SmartAlex set up, everything's fine. But basically, if you know how to work with ChatGPT and Claude, you're more than okay to work in this platform.

A lot of people actually ask me like, what is the difference between SmartAlex and ChatGPT and Claude? And the best way for me to explain this is they literally fit in together and they work together so well. So if you look at Claude, what Claude can't do is understand your business in the detail that our platform does because obviously you trust Claude with a lot of personal stuff. And you trust your business and the specific customer interaction stuff with SmartAlex.

We're we're in no opposition to Claude. We're actually we actually work really well with Claude. So if you think Claude is great like as it is, if you integrate Claude specifically with our technology, it works extremely well.

So basically it says over here, "Good news, Liam. You're already connected. No sign-in needed. SmartAlex reporting is as operational."

So over here I can do something really fun. Like I can basically say, "Hey, can you tell me how all my calls went last week and is the campaign ready to set up for next week?" Or tomorrow actually, because this is literally making phone calls tomorrow, which is crazy. So yeah.

Well, while we wait for that, let me actually hop back into ChatGPT and show you exactly how this works in ChatGPT. So if you click on plugins and you click on add and you click on add marketplace and you type in our like little marketplace here and you click on add marketplace. What this is going to do is it's literally going to add the SmartAlex marketplace and then you can search for SmartAlex. Like guys, it's it's so easy.

You you click on SmartAlex. You're going to click on install plugin. Here's literally all the skills, all the information, everything. Great.

There it is. And then you're going to click on manage. Now you can actually see SmartAlex's is right over here. Like it's installed.

Everything is there for you. Here's the plugins, apps section, everything. So let's just do do this again. You're going to click on plugins.

And yeah, mine's obviously installed. Here's SmartAlex installed. And now I'm going to click on try it now and I'm going to click on send. Same thing as what I did in in Claude.

And if you haven't already connected basically ChatGPT will prompt you to connect it. And then the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to go into GrokBot and I'm literally going to type in the plugin like in in GrokBot. GrokBot make it a little bit easier by the way. It's taking a look at the plugin now and GrokBot will then also be able to literally like load the plugin and allow me to start operating from the plugin.

Yeah, that is literally how amazing it is. So, I'm going to come straight back into SmartAlex into Claude. Let me quickly go back into which one was it? There we are.

Okay, here it is and I'm going to click on always allow. So, yeah, guys, basically also you don't you never need to stress about something potentially going wrong with with with Claude and our product or anything to that effect because essentially we list what the destructive operations are. So, you can't break the platform by connecting it to Claude. It will just do everything for you.

So, if you don't know how to like run through our platform, you don't you don't really understand it, you don't really understand like how it works, that kind of thing, you can literally like just connect it to Claude and it works perfectly every single time. Which is insane. So, yeah, I think I also say insane too many times.

Okay, so, let's just let this run and see what is happening. So, let's just give this a few seconds using SmartAlex getting call record reckoning. I don't even know where Claude finds all of these things from, but let's come back into Okay, here. So, can you see GrokBot's already added it?

So, we we're in GrokBot, we're in Claude. ChatGPT's already there, which is insane. Like like it's just Guys, I don't even know how to explain it to you, but yeah, it is it is super powerful. So, over here, can you see how Claude is literally using all of our tools?

So, now saying here's the rundown, calls this week. Calls that need to follow up. Tomorrow's campaign is called the the and inquiry so, yeah, like it is it is it is really really incredible. One of one of the one of the probably like best features that we we could have ever done.

So, yeah, maybe it's important to talk about what this can and can't do. So, I'm also going to say to Claude over here, "Please tell me what you can and can't do with the SmartAlex." Plug in. Okay.

So, what can this do and what can't this do? Basically, it can make phone calls on your behalf through this I used it the other day to make reservations at restaurants, which it did like awesomely like brilliant at. So, yeah, basically, it can do calls and reporting. It can create or edit voice agents, rewrite prompt sections, add knowledge from text to your website from from text or your website.

It can run test calls. It can build, edit campaigns. It can add contacts. It can do literally any of that.

It can also oops, search, create, update, import contacts into the it can buy phone numbers. It can assign phone numbers. It can you can literally like connect API tools and integrations directly to your agent through here, which is also amazing. What it can't do, and Bryce, one of our developers, actually said like rather than asking what it can do, you should ask what it can't do.

So, what it can't do is play or share call recordings. It can't handle API keys and passwords. It's not able to send a text after a campaign's last call attempt. It's not able to split analytics and figures by agent.

This is essentially a like a account setup. It can't also use tools from your plan that the role doesn't allow. So, basically, if you have a team of people, your team can't do things that their role doesn't allow them to do. It's not allowed you you you like add on and and like do anything monetary wise, so you're not going to like lose money or anything.

And then you obviously you're not allowed to get around any agent's rules. So, yeah, pretty amazing stuff. So, that is it as far as the integration goes. I really would like you to in your in your own time test it out.

And also it works on your phone on your phone straight to BT amazingly. Which is like just awesome. I wonder if I should if I should No. Okay, I'm not going to make phone calls on a Sunday cuz I'm actually recording this on a Sunday.

Yeah, that's a little bit on that. What else can I tell you about? Obviously our mobile app is launching over the next couple of days. What this means is that you can talk to your devices from to to your to your agent from seven devices.

That is incredible. So yeah, let me get through a couple of these slides. Okay, so obviously point number one, you have the the SmartAlex plugin. You've got the plugin page, you've got a lot of details on the plugin.

Point number two is obviously campaigns. You're able to run very sophisticated debt collection campaigns, contact center campaigns. You're able to integrate your APIs however you wish and please and want to. That's quite an amazing feature.

So, yeah, there's there's some there's some really amazing things that you can do here overall. And that's just a very short rundown on what you can do in SmartAlex. And a couple of the fun things, you can run automations. And yeah, that's about it.
