Building an AI Outbound Calling Campaign, Part 2: Who Gets Told

31 October 2026 · SmartAlex on YouTube

Part 2 of Jake and Liam's campaign build. Step five sends emails about the campaign to people on your own team, not to the leads. Add whoever needs the call outcomes, the callbacks booked or the finished report. The example is a debt collection team that gets the next steps from every call, so it can act straight away.

Step five: emails about the campaign

Today, we've got campaigns. We got some fun things to show you on campaigns. A lot of companies want a human to be in the loop with certain campaign details. So, let's say you're a company and we're already on step five.

Who gets the emails

I can't believe it, but basically, if you want someone to receive an email with reports like call reports, call back booked, or campaign finished, you can actually put that person's email in here and that person will get an email literally when these like statuses and requirements are met.

How many emails can you add into that tab at once? At once?

Well, not at once, but I mean I could say like Jake Jake@ company.com.

And then I can say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and also you don't want to add too many people here because then a lot of people are going to get a lot of emails in your company and then everyone's going to get

And this So, this is people within your

Literally within your company.

Your team, not the lead

More Oh, so it's not actually going So, the email section, this isn't going

No, no, no. So, this is literally

Maybe just explain that a little bit because I'm a little confused there.

Good question. When a call ends, okay, to a prospect. So, let's say you're running smarter. Alex, you do an outbound campaign and your agent makes a phone call.

Within your business, you need to notify someone of like a call back being scheduled or you want to be able to keep track as as a CEO or as a person that created the campaign. You want to be able to keep track of how the campaign's going, what's going on. And you So, so sometimes it's not you, but it's someone in your business. For example, debt collection.

Example: a debt collection team

Debt collection is a big use case for outbound campaign. Now, debt collection is is in this example very good because often there's a debt collector that needs to get an email with the next

And if you put your debt collector's email in here and you've got different departments, your debt collector for this campaign will get emails literally just of the next steps of of the phone

Of that specific client.

Of that specific client for that specific campaign.

So, you could run if you run like a debt collection business, you send out the the person who you give access to in the emails about this campaign then gets updates based on what the outcomes of those calls were.

The updates you no longer write by hand

And then they can immediately take

It's literally taking a massive segment of your business and just allowing you to just not worry about it and then just focus on closing and actually like generating revenue, which is what so many people really struggle with. I feel like that's why so many people like this stuff is because it takes so much off of their hands, saves them so much time.

Exactly that. So, like basically, let's say you you were to manually make phone calls, okay, as a human and you were to call like a thousand people.

After that phone call, you need to update someone in your team

About that phone call.

Update the CRM about the phone

Is This is it. Like this this does that for you.
