How I Set Up My AI Receptionist to Hand the Call to a Human

What's up, guys? And welcome back with a lot of love to SmartAlex. Woohoo. Today, I'm going to show you how to set it up that if a client asks for a transfer to a human being, say they don't enjoy talking to your AI voice agent, then you can have an embedded system that sends them straight to a real person so that the sale can still be closed.

Let's dive in. So, what I love about SmartAlex, the best thing about SmartAlex is that so much can actually just be built within the build section of your chatbot. So, over here, you see I've got the user interface open. If I literally just type this in, how do I add a human number as a transfer and send it in the build section, of course, it's going to actually start thinking and give me a segment to build it.

This is what I love. Everything can be done right here. So you see as it says set up call transfers, I can literally give it a name. So John Wig, let's call him John Wig.

Let's say John Wig is from and you're going to have to give it a a real number. So let's just say John Wig is from South Africa. And that's And then basically what you do would be only allow transfers during business hours. You can set that if you want to.

And you can actually set all the times that you'd like those transfers to take place. Allow meeting bookings during business hours. You set the parameters for when you allow people to book meetings with you. You can save the and it really is as simple as that.

If I was making a phone call to somebody, it would immediately transfer me to the number that I have put in there. If someone was making a phone call to me, it would immediately transfer them to the number that I've inputed should they ask.
