Jake's agent answers for a pretend ticketing company. Asked for a refund, it offers to take a message. So Jake types one instruction in plain English: refund requests go to a person. SmartAlex turns it into a business rule. He reviews it, applies it and tests it on a phone call. This time the agent offers to put him through, and transfers the call.
What is up, guys? And welcome to another episode of exploring SmartAlex.
Today, I'm going to show you how quick and easy it is to make live changes on your AI agent. The demo account that I'm going to be using is Eventbrite. They are a UK-based ticketing platform.
Firstly, the more changes you're going to want to make, the more you're going to want to be connected. In order to do that, you're going to want to sync up all your connectors
With your agent. So, WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram. There's a crazy list of things you can do. Today, I want to explore what happens if a client asks Eventbrite for a refund.
Let's test what it sounds like right now. If I go to just a simple test and I start, this is what it's going to say.
Hello. Thank you for calling Eventbrite. This is Alex, your booking assistant. How can I help you?
Thanks so much. I would like to please request a refund.
I'm not 100% sure about that, but I can take a message for the team to get back to you, or would you like to book an appointment to discuss it further?
No, thanks. That's perfect. All right. So, obviously, there's been nothing inputted here.
There's been no connections. And so, what Alex says to me when I'm a client and I ask for a refund is that it says I'm not 100% sure about that. I can take a message for the team will get back to you, or would you like to book an appointment to discuss it further. Simple.
That's what they do. They're not over-promising anything.
But, what I would like is for my AI agent to say when somebody asks for a refund, because you know, people don't want to wait on their money. People want that security. I'm going to say, when somebody asks for a refund on their ticket, make sure to make a call So, I'm going to put that in and I'm going to show you how simple this is. You literally just input it in the section here.
And also, while that's loading, if you want to make a call transfer, you literally do the exact same thing. You just say, "I want to make a call transfer." They'll help you set up with the number and everything you need, and that's in a previous video.
Then you review your instructions. Business rules added. If a caller asks for a refund on their ticket, set up the booking flow immediately and call transfer to a human agent. Do not attempt to resolve the refund yourself.
It's incredible what it can do. It's literally blowing my mind. It's blowing my mind. I said it really is.
Okay. So, all you're going to do is you're going to scroll down and you're going to click apply.
Okay. Now, what will be really fun is to actually test this on a phone call. I'm going to request a number as if I'm a client. So, it's going to be in technically an outbound call.
And I'm going to input my number and we're testing on a phone call. Just for fun, you know. Phone call arrives from SmartAlex. Let's rock.
Welcome to Eventbrite.
Thanks so much. I would like to please request a refund.
Hi Jake. We've spoken before. I can try to connect you with a human agent for that one. Would you like me to try John
That sounds perfect. Thank you so much. And just like that, I get the connection call. Obviously, I'm going to hang up.
Obviously, it's my phone, so
It's like doubling up, but it makes the connection. It makes the transfer. The change has been actioned.
There is You can literally change it in any way that you want, and all you have to do is type it in here, apply it, read it, and test it. Thanks so much, guys. Any questions or anything else you'd like us to try out, let me know, and I'll do a video on it. Thanks so much.
Cheers.
