What does SmartAlex do?
SmartAlex builds AI voice agents that answer your business phone calls and the calls that come in through your website. The agent picks up, answers questions about your business, qualifies the caller, books the meeting into your calendar, and leaves you a written summary of the call.
How much does SmartAlex cost?
The Professional plan is $99 a month and includes 250 call minutes, the dashboard, analytics and support. Minutes beyond that start at $0.01 a minute and work out at about $0.05 a minute on average. Phone numbers are $1 a month each. There are no setup fees and no contracts, and you can cancel at any time.
How long does it take to set up an AI voice agent?

Yes. SmartAlex connects directly to Google Workspace, including Calendar, Drive, Sheets and Meet, as well as Slack, Stripe and Shopify. Anything else connects through the REST API, through Zapier, or through the public MCP server that lets AI assistants talk to SmartAlex directly.
What happens if the agent cannot answer a question?
It follows the guardrails you set for it. It can take a message and text it to you, book a callback for later, or transfer the call straight through to a person on your team.
Is my call data secure?
Yes. SmartAlex is aligned to GDPR and POPIA, and call data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. The platform is built by THERCSGROUP Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore.
